Bought first Bow

Ross Carnivore 34
I went to buy a Mathews but I decided to re-shoot everything and was surprised I kept on coming back to the Ross.
It saved me $500 on the total rig!!

Congrats! Great looking bow! Heard alot of good things about Ross Bows and saving big chunks of $$$ is a major plus as well. Keep us posted on how it shoots and be sure to share any trophy pics taken with it!

Not much else has happened. Just been practicing and "William Telled" a couple of arrows. ( One right in the spine of the other. ) The only reason that happened was because of grouping. Trust me, my eyesight is not that good. But it was neat to see.
Anyway, that is about it.
Picking up my wifes Axis mount from Old Friends Taxidermy over Labor Day weekend. This Axis was the State Silver record last year that was posted on this sight.

We call them "robin hoods", but whatever you call 'em, there always kind of a thrill (other than ruining a perfectly good arrow...or 2)!! Would that be Old Friends in San Angelo? If so, be sure to tell Henry D. that Craig & AAE say hello. Henry has mounted my deer for years, including my first axis w/ a bow, taken last year! He does awesome work!!
